Synopsis

Story based on a haunted mansion, Chaonei No. 81, which is located on No.81 Chaoyangmen Inner Street in Beijing, China. According to local legends, this mansion was built by the Qing imperial family as a British church for British residents of Beijing. A wife of a high-ranking Kuomintang official hanged herself and is said to be haunting the mansion.
