Chalida Taochalee Thantipipob (ชลิดา ตันติพิภพ) born February 8, 1974, is a Thai actress, writer, and TV host.
Nok was born in Chicago and graduated Nursing degree there. She currently lives in Thailand and has her own TV show ” Living in Shape” on Thai TV Channel 3.
Chalida’s break into the world of entertainment began with her hosting of the “Incredible Thursday” program on TV Channel 7. This earned her a prestigious Mekhla award for Best Television Presenter, 1998. She then joined the team for E!Entertainment’s special segment entitled “Wild in Thailand”. In the same year, Chalida was honored with her appointment as PR Ambassador for the Tourism Authority of Thailand, representing the nation at various events. She also served as marketing consultant to ICC International Public Company Limited.
In 2000, Chalida was recognized with the Priew Award from Priew magazine, as well as the “Fun Fearless Female 2000” award, organized by Cosmopolitan magazine. In the same year, Chalida was honorary emcee for several high profile events, such as the Gala Premiere of the film “Stuart Little” for Columbia Tri-Star Buena Vista Films (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and a special interviewer of world class golfers, including Tiger Woods and Phil McKerson, as well as celebrities such as pianist, singer and composer Jim Brickman.
Chalida was a writer of “Living In Shape” health column in Praew magazine, “Food for Life” column in the Dailynews Newspaper. She is also the author of the best selling “Diet Secret… How to Eat To Be Thin” and “Ageless Formulas” … How to stay forever young, a special presenter for several health and nutritional programs.
From a successful writer, In 2005, Chalida become the host of her own television show “Living In Shape” on Channel 3 with good intentions to improve the quality of life with the global heath trends through stylish presentations. “I believe it is particularly important for everyone to eat right and exercise. Taking good care of your health is probably the best investment you ever made. I admit that it’s a challenge to convince people and myself to do so due to our busy lifestyles.
