“Case Number 113” is based on Ryu Sung Hee’s novel about a murder case that leads to the quarrel and forgiveness of a family and highlights on the relationship between parents and their children.
Kang Hee Kyung is a well known Chief Surgeon of a University Hospital. Her husband unexpectedly dies in a car accident with his mistress and she is shocked by the accident. Since that time, Hee Kyung pours excessive love on her sole daughter and this causes negative consequences on her daughter. Her daughter gets caught up in a mix of sex and drugs. She then kills someone by accident and then coverups her daughter’s involvement in the killing. Prosecutors and detectives try to find the truth behind the case, where the body has yet to be found.
